SHALOM ( In the presence of God.)

We seek to provide a “sacred space”, a space to reflect, to pray, a space to find peace, stillness and refreshment. Our usual pattern after welcoming everyone is to start with a short stilling exercise then a reading and/or reflection followed by a shared silence and finishing with a prayer of thanks. We often end with coffee, cake and chat. Our meetings are usually around the last Saturday of each month. We meet from 10.00 to 11.00am in the Lady Chapel. Welcome one and all – come and share your experiences.

Saturday 27 April in Church – Jean will offer a time of reflection following our Easter Celebrations. We will then enjoy a Bring and Share lunch at the home of Sarah and Bill.

Weekly Prayer

Lord, the resurrection of Your Son has given us new life and renewed hope. Help us to live as new people in pursuit of the Christian ideal. Grant us wisdom to know what we must do, the will to want to do it, the courage to undertake it, the perseverance to continue to do it and the strength to complete it. Amen
