Our support for the Foodbank at Holy Trinity Church began in 2012.
Initially we collected non perishable food on the first Sunday of each month and delivered it to their Church the following day. We also had a rota of people who went to help when food was being distributed on Tuesday afternoons.
When Covid struck, and we could no longer collect food in Church, Patricia Brignall and I started collecting cash from any Church members who wished to continue supporting the foodbank . Once a month the money is transferred into the foodbank account.
Currently we continue to collect cash and not food.
