Rector: The Revd. Nicki McNelly
On 6th July The Rt Revd Dr John Armes, Bishop of Edinburgh, installed The Revd Nicky McNelly as our new rector.
Nicki studied for ministry at Cranmer Hall, St.John’s College, Durham and was ordained in 2009. Following her curacy at St.Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh she was appointed Provost at St.John’s Cathedral, Oban where she remained until returning to Edinburgh to take up her post as our rector.
She is married to Iain, whom she followed to many places, for many years , as an army wife. This time gives her a long and varied CV with fantastic life experiences. They have two grown up daughters. See more about Nicki in her ‘First sermon St. Cuthbert’s’

Support Staff and Lay Workers

Mary Moffett (Support Worker for Elderly People)
Mary has been the Support Worker for Older People for St Cuthberts since early 1998. She has a science degree from St. Andrews and a BD from New College, Edinburgh, and spent fifteen years cooking in restaurants and running a wholefood shop. Mary works 12 hours a week providing imaginative pastoral and spiritual support and encouragement to the older members of our congregation and community. Her work is loosely based around our Thursday Service.
